Now you understand my TV needs. Have you ever watched a sport without commercials? Yeah in person is great, but not possible for all. On my big dish we got everything--without commercials. Listening to the announcers talk while everyone else was learning about viagra or budweiser. Oh yeah those dishes also give you your favorite show hours and sometimes days before it airs. Wanna freak some people out? I gotta go now. The TV's on and i'm missing something.
The Life and Times of a House Husband.....what is this blog about you may wonder? I'm just spouting stuff that comes to mind. Its really just a place to type something not on facebook. You know that place where the rest of the internet goes... Musings on airplanes, racing, hockey, and a bunch of other stuff. Most images are gathered from sites around the web except for the hockey pix which are taken by me.

Ok so here is some info about me: Yes I am a house husband although I really don't do the things I am supposed to do. I end up surfing the net all day and watching TV. No really as a kid we had 3 channels of TV and then 4. Now I have more than 500 thanks to satellite TV. Its just too much to handle. I need to know what's on all the time. I am actually getting much better. In my backyard are 7 satellite dishes. These are all hooked up. My dish graveyard add another 8 or 9. I used to need to know what was on the other channel at the same time I was watching this channel. My basement has 11 working TV's in one room. All hooked up to different satellite dishes. All pointed at different satellites. Some dishes are the large C-Band kind that are virtually extinct. Some are the little 18" Dish Network and Directv style. Some are KU band hunting for feeds. I don't use many of those anymore, but I can't bear to take them down.
